End User Licence Agreement (EULA)

Last updated: 30 October 2026 · Deutsch

This agreement governs use of software products from Techno-Grafik Christian Lackner e.U., particularly Zip-Share, iTaskX, iMeetingX, InvoiceRenamer and ShareManager. It applies where validly incorporated into the relevant contract. Merely publishing a new version does not retrospectively restrict previously agreed usage rights.

The scope of functions, supported platforms, system requirements and selected offer described when the contract is concluded govern. Individually agreed terms prevail over this agreement; mandatory legal rights always remain unaffected. Software is licensed, not sold with its copyright. Listing other products in this agreement does not grant rights to those products.

2. Scope of usage rights

You receive a non-exclusive right to use the acquired software within the agreed scope. Copies necessary for installation, operation and backup are permitted. You retain your rights in your own documents and work; this agreement does not transfer them to Techno-Grafik.

App Store purchases

The generally non-transferable licence covers Apple devices you own or control, subject to the Apple Media Services usage rules. Permitted Family Sharing and volume purchasing remain applicable. The specific Store offer determines whether a particular product, in-app purchase or multiple platforms are covered.

For businesses and educational institutions, Apple's usage rules permit a single individual to use the app on one or more devices owned or controlled by the institution. Alternatively, multiple individuals may use the app on a single shared device owned or controlled by the institution. Each additional shared device requires a separate licence. This does not provide blanket permission for all employees and devices within an institution. The applicable usage rules and, where relevant, volume purchasing terms remain controlling.

The two-device rule below and the restriction to use on only one device at a time apply exclusively to single-user licences purchased directly from us and do not apply to App Store purchases.

Single-user licences purchased directly from us

Unless otherwise agreed in the individual offer, a single-user licence entitles one assigned user to install the software on no more than two devices, such as a desktop computer and a notebook. Under this licence, the software may be used on only one device at a time. Installation on additional devices or sharing the licence between multiple individuals is not permitted. When replacing a device, the previous installation must be removed if retaining it would exceed the permitted number of devices. Different business or multi-user licensing arrangements require a separate agreement.

This rule applies separately to each single-user licence purchased. If multiple single-user licences are purchased, each licence may be assigned to a separate user. Each of these users may install the software on no more than two devices and use it on only one device at a time. This does not permit installation rights to be pooled and freely allocated across devices. Different individual agreements remain unaffected.

Individual business and multi-user licences

The individual offer or contract specifies user and device numbers, organisational use, duration and any special deployment rights. Payment for licences purchased directly from us is by invoice on the agreed terms. Additional users or usage rights require separate agreement; the technical ability to install software does not itself expand a licence.

3. Trials, purchases, subscriptions and restoration

A trial may be used within the functions and period offered. Its start, duration, prerequisites and behaviour after expiry are described in the relevant offer or purchase view. A trial alone creates no obligation to buy. If a trial subscription expressly entered into converts automatically to a paid subscription, its price, duration and cancellation terms must be disclosed before it is concluded.

A one-time purchase grants the usage rights described in the offer without recurring charges for that purchase. It does not promise every future major version, other products or unlimited technical support. Agreed services and statutory update obligations remain unaffected. Subscriptions renew only as disclosed when agreed; App Store subscriptions are managed through Apple.

Apple and the entitled Apple Account handle App Store purchases and restoration. A purchase through one distribution channel does not automatically apply to another. Cross-platform access applies only where included in the specific offer. Revoked or refunded purchases may lose the associated entitlement.

4. Permitted use and third-party rights

Without the appropriate rights, you may not resell, rent, sublicense or make the software available beyond the agreed users. Mandatory transfer and exhaustion rights remain unaffected. You may not remove rights notices or unlawfully circumvent technical licence restrictions. Modification, decompilation and reverse engineering are permitted only where allowed by law or express agreement, including legally permitted interoperability work.

Included third-party and open-source components remain subject to their accompanying licence notices. This agreement does not restrict rights under those licences. Applicable third-party terms must be observed when using external services.

5. Data, sharing and external services

You decide which content to process or share. Ensure that you are entitled to do so and select appropriate permissions, recipients and backups. Recipients may retain copies of shared passwords or presets. Archive encryption does not necessarily conceal file or folder names. Local processing, cloud synchronisation, network access and transmission vary by product and setting.

Recognition, naming, planning and automation results should be checked before use with significant legal or financial consequences. These precautions do not exclude claims for software defects. The applications do not replace legal, tax or professional assessment required in an individual case.

External functions may require a separate account, connection or permission. We remain responsible for our agreed services; this is not a blanket exclusion of responsibility for integrated services. Our Privacy Policy explains processing of personal data. Acknowledging it does not constitute consent to additional processing.

6. Updates and support

We provide updates required by our agreement and by law. Install necessary updates after receiving the relevant information; the statutory conditions governing consequences of failure to install remain applicable. Compatibility with every future operating-system version is not promised beyond contractual or statutory obligations. Support is available through the contact details above; special response times apply only if agreed.

7. Warranty, liability and consumer rights

Statutory rights concerning defects apply, including the relevant rules for digital products and services. Legally available repair, replacement, price reduction or termination are not restricted to a refund of our choosing. An additional voluntary guarantee exists only if expressly promised.

We are liable for loss and damage under applicable law. In particular, liability for personal injury, intent, gross negligence and mandatory product liability is not excluded or limited. Individual agreements with business customers apply only to the extent permitted by law.

Consumers' statutory withdrawal or cancellation rights remain unaffected. For digital content, such a right may end early only under the legal conditions, including any required express consent, acknowledgement and contract confirmation. Installation or acceptance of this agreement alone does not satisfy those conditions. The applicable withdrawal information is provided in the relevant ordering process; this EULA does not replace it.

8. Additional App Store terms

The licence is between you and Techno-Grafik, not Apple. Techno-Grafik is responsible for the app, content, maintenance, support and claims involving product defects, privacy, consumer protection and legal compliance. Apple owes no support. For a warranty failure, you may notify Apple, which will refund the app's purchase price. Apple has no further warranty obligations except where mandatory law requires them; other relevant claims remain Techno-Grafik's responsibility.

Techno-Grafik, not Apple, handles investigation, defence and resolution of third-party intellectual-property claims concerning the app or its use. You confirm that you are not located in a US-embargoed country or one designated by the US as supporting terrorism, and are not on a US list of prohibited or restricted parties. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries entitled to enforce this agreement upon your acceptance. Applicable Apple usage rules remain controlling.

9. Duration and termination

Duration follows the acquired usage right. A material breach may justify termination for cause under the statutory conditions, with an opportunity to remedy the breach where required. Merely declining optional functions or changing your privacy choices does not terminate a paid licence. After valid termination, the affected use must cease; your documents remain yours. Refund, warranty and compensation rights continue as provided by law.

10. Governing law, language and final provisions

Austrian law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Consumers retain mandatory protections of their country of habitual residence where applicable under conflict-of-law rules. Statutory jurisdiction rules apply to consumers. For business customers, the court with subject-matter jurisdiction in Linz is agreed where legally permissible.

The German and English versions are intended to have equivalent meaning; the language agreed at contract conclusion governs. Translation does not restrict mandatory rights. Invalid provisions are replaced by applicable law; the rest of the agreement remains effective as provided by law. Changes to existing contracts require a valid agreement or legal basis; updating this website alone does not change them.
